The “Let Your Job Go” Diet- Does It REALLY Work?

It seems like there are a lot of people that do not like there job, but they continue to do it? It is because they may be comfortable in a “reliable” job, but sometimes reliable isn’t the best for you! If you have hard time getting up Monday morning and getting ready for the work week then there is an issue. If you can’t wait until 5 p.m comes around so you can go home, then there is an issue. This can be said about me, and so many other people.

I am currently a physical therapist assistant, that gets to travel (very grateful). When I was in school I though traveling and working would be the best thing ever, but I soon realized that traveling and working is only the best thing ever if you are passionate about your job.

I absolutely do like helping “baby boomers” (born between 1946-64) and the “silent generation” be more functional but it is too hard to see people that aren’t even able to wash themselves, and have very little to no rehabilitation potential. I know that I (we as health coaches, and other health professionals) can help people get healthy, and stay healthy before they get this way. (1)

That is why I am becoming a health coach that works primarily with millennials that have anxiety/stress issues and/or digestive issues. It helps me get through each work day knowing that I have started to find my passion and purpose in life. I also get to learn that if we don’t take care of ourselves now, that we could end up being in a situation where we can not take care of ourselves, earlier than intended. As a millennial myself, I want to see our generation be the healthiest, all the way to the end.
