What I Learned From a Former Naturopathic Doctor, ND!

According to Google, a naturopathic doctor, ND is: “a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, treatment and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances which encourage the person’s inherent self -healing process.”

I was fortunate enough to be able to talk to a former ND, Dr. Hossein Kord. He reached out to me after I created a health meetup group. Since he was unable to make it to the meetup, because of the distance, we ended up talking on the phone.

When he did work as an ND, he worked a lot with digestive issues, along with other specialties. He found it essential to analyze urine, blood work, and the hormones to get a good idea of each client’s overall health. He completed all the analyzing in front of them so that he could teach them what he was seeing. With typical doctor’s you are in and out within 15 minutes, but he would spend an hour with them so that they could both learn what was going on. It says how detailed he was and how important each client’s health was.

One other subject that stuck out to me is when he mentioned drinking or eating some acidic food, like apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. If this causes heartburn and the client is not a young teenager, then, commonly, there is low stomach acid and gastritis, along with micro ulcers. He mentioned teenagers because they tend to have more stomach acid (hence why they can eat so much.)

Throughout Dr. Hossein Kord, ND’s journey, he found something that he would use with over 1,000 people and it was called “Electro Acupuncture According to Voll (EAV),” which measures energetic imbalances. He was able to see how beneficial the EAV was to Voll’s patient’s so he decided to purchase one. He was able to use it with over 1,000 people. He was able to use it on 1000 people, yet he still did not master it. He said it takes years to master the use of an EAV. Dr. Hossein Kord, ND, only knows a handful of people in the US that have mastered the use of an EAV.

Along with the use of the EAV gadget, he also analyzed stress by using a Digital Pulse Analyzer (DPA), along with Heart and Circulation Analysis with the same gadget. He also worked with stress management and Biofeedback using Heartmath technology. These are just some of the gadgets he used. You can find more about what tests he used on his website.

When he was a practicing as a ND, Dr. Hossein Kord, loved to use his gadgets to help find the root cause of each person’s ailment. That love of technology has led him down his path of passion as a computer engineer.

We in the field of promoting self-healing thank him for his contributions, and what he was able to do for people!
